The Love Institute offers counseling, workshops and groups to individuals who want to strengthen their relationships. The concept was birthed in 2015 as a means to reduce the risk of teen dating violence. Developed by Clinical Social Worker Jessica Gaffney, the Institute sees clients in its seaside community and also produces resources to strengthen families. Founder Jessica Gaffney has spent the last 5 years educating audiences from schools, to institutions and the medical community about the warning signs of domestic violence and human trafficking.
The Institute serves families through the development of curriculum and counseling that strengthens the family unit and improves communication. The Institute believes that communication skills portrayed through the LOVE Principle (Listen. Observe. Validate and Encourage) are the back bone of safety and nurturing which can prevent child abuse through awareness.
